The Final Session/Asheville Maternity Photographer

Tonight I did my final session until the fall.  I’m not quite sure how I ever thought I would be able to do sessions right up until my due date!  Laying on the ground to get good shots is one thing, but then I have to get up off of the ground.  lol  I loved everything about this session: the location, the fun clients, the overcast sky,….it was the perfect session!  It was fun doing a session with someone who was also out of breath walking up hills.  We had a ton of laughs at ourselves and each other.  I’m going to miss working, but I know that with 2 kids and a newborn, life as I know it is about to get all kinds of crazy!  So get ready to see lots of pictures of my own children for the next few months!  If you are interested in a fall session, I will probably be doing a few select sessions starting in October, so don’t wait to book a date.  They will go fast!

Time Flies/Asheville Baby and Family Photographer

This evening I did my second to last session before maternity leave.  I’m so happy that it was with this family!  I hadn’t seen their sweet baby girl since she was a newborn:  here and here.  She was still just as easy as she was 8 months ago.  We did their session at the Biltmore House, a place that I have been dying to do a session at.  And it was great because we were pretty much the only people around!  I had such a great evening with you guys.  I’m looking forward to seeing you guys again down the road!

Love her little fish face!  hehe

Piper’s Room

We got our baby Piper’s room all ready, probably a little too far in advance but the doctors have scared me enough to make me get into major nesting mode!  I love how it turned out and can’t wait to have her in there.  🙂

Can you guess what these frames are for?  Newborn pictures of course.  🙂

This is above her changing table.  Had to get this picture from Etsy because getting  a picture of this was nearly impossible with the glare:

About 6 more weeks and baby girl will be here, hopefully no less!  Can’t wait to meet her and hold her!

Happy 2nd Birthday River!/Asheville Child Photographer

I can’t believe that my baby bear is turning 2 this week.  I feel like I just did his one year pictures.  Time went by way too quickly.  I love this little man more than I ever could have imagined.  I still can’t believe that I was so scared and worried about having a boy.  I love having a boy.  I love how he loves trains and dump trucks, and bull dozers.  I love watching him climb and jump and rough house.  And as much of a boy as he is, he is still the sweetest, most cuddly child on the planet.  I’ve never met a sweeter child, ever.  I love you so very much my little boy.  I sure hope that the next year goes a little more slowly.  🙁

I almost had to postpone these pictures.  Being the mom of the year that I am, I forgot to put sunscreen on him yesterday while we were out in the sun for the whole morning.  I guess spring is here and I need to start remembering.  On top of that, the balloons that I wanted to get from the party store couldn’t be gotten today.  The party store isn’t open on Sundays.  Boo!  But the weather was so perfect today, finally warm, so we had to take advantage of it!  I decided to do his pictures on the same bridge where I did his one year pictures.  I may do this every year, just for fun.  🙂
