Introducing River!/Asheville Newborn Photographer

Our baby, River Levi, was finally born this past Tuesday morning at 5:08 am!  I really didn’t think he was ever going to join the world.  I was so beyond ready and a week past due!  Labor was a nightmare and I joke that I now need counseling.  lol  But it’s over, he’s here, and he’s a dream baby, except at night!  😉  We’ve been up most of the night for the past two nights.  He doesn’t cry, but just doesn’t want to sleep.  Thank goodness for all of the DVR’d shows that we have to catch up on. We are so in love with this boy.  I feel so blessed every time I look at him and Mya.  I’m such a lucky momma!   Today I was so tired and really should have slept since he slept most of the day, but was too excited to do his newborn pictures.  So here’s our sweet little baby boy.  And here’s to hoping that we get some sleep tonight.  😉  I have more ideas for photos that I’m going to do later this week.  Poor little man just doesn’t know that he is now my favorite subject.

Still Here-Asheville Child Photographer

I am still here, just getting settled into our new house here in Asheville and starting to get ready for baby #2!  I hung some curtains yesterday and Mya loved playing in them so I grabbed my camera.  My poor camera has been sitting in my closet since we got here, pretty much, so it was time to break it out!  I hope to be booking some N.C. clients very soon!  I only have a few dates open before the baby comes so if you or anyone you know is interested in a session, email me ASAP!  🙂

Maternity Pictures

Last weekend was our last weekend in NYC and it was also the weekend that we did our family/maternity pictures.  It was sooooo cold!!!!  Mya was not a fan of the frigid weather and neither were my fingers.  😉  I have to give a huge thank you to Angela at http://www.an-gphotoblog.com/ for doing these beautiful pictures for us!  All of you New Yorkers looking for a new family photographer, check her out!

Let It Snow!-Asheville, N.C. Family Photographer

We were in Asheville, N.C. for Christmas this year with my family.  On Christmas morning, we woke up to lots and lots of snow, so much in fact, that we got stuck there for an extra couple of days.  Of course then it hit N.Y. in a major way and getting back home was pretty scary!  But we had a lot of fun playing in the snow!

By the way, we are relocating from NYC to Asheville in about 2 weeks!  I’m ready to book some new clients and am even thinking of setting up a studio in our new house!  Yay!  Very exciting stuff!  More to come on that later!
