I’m Still Here/Asheville Child Photographer

blog20

I’m still here!  I haven’t posted a session in a while but I haven’t disappeared.  My last two sessions were cancelled by the clients at the last minute.  So because of that, some things have now changed as far as pricing goes.  I want to move past these cancelled sessions and just learn from them.  I did make the most out of the weekend since I didn’t have any sessions to do or photos to edit.  We roasted marshmallows and ate dinner by the fire outside last night.  Today we took all THREE kids to the movies for the first time.  Everything happens for a reason.  I believe that.  Maybe someone thought I needed a break?  I don’t know what the reason is but it gave me time to take some pictures of my own baby girl!  So deep breaths, lots of antacid, maybe some wine and I’m back and ready for my upcoming sweet families and babies!

Christmas PJ Minis!/Asheville Baby Photographer, Asheville Child Photographer

Yesterday I did Christmas mini-sessions with kids!  It was so much fun and I loved working with kids of so many different ages!  I went from tickling some with Elmo to telling jokes with the older kids.  I love that I got to see some kids that I hadn’t seen in a really long time!  I usually only do these for my moms’ group but this year I opened them up to anyone who was interested and made them very affordable.  There are lots of families out there that want photos done but can’t afford them, especially around the holidays.  I wanted to make these affordable enough for anyone, even a single mom!  I’m so glad I did these.  These are just a few of the many, many sessions that I did!  Happy holidays to everyone out there!  I hope that your days are filled with family, love and good spirits!

Christmas is Coming/Asheville Child Photographer

Christmas is coming so I thought it was time to get some pictures of my kids.  This is the set up that I’m using for my mini-sessions next weekend so I thought I would give it a try!  I had the hardest time figuring out how I was going to do this but I love the way it turned out!

Favorites of 2014!/Asheville Family Photographer

I like to go through and pick out my favorites from the year at the end of each year.  Here are some of my favorite photos from 2014!  If you can’t tell, I had a really hard time picking because I love so many of them.  It’s cool to see how much I’ve grown too, especially with newborn photography!  I think I’ll probably be adding a few more from my upcoming sessions!  Which ones are your favorites?
