I was so excited to see this family! This was the fourth session that I’ve done for them. They are starting to feel like family. I got to see older sister who I did newborn pictures for two years ago. She’s so beautiful! I loved this session so much. Mom is so relaxed and because I know her so well, I didn’t feel weird asking her if she would like to do some pictures in the creek! She said, “Yes,” and I couldn’t wait. I love outdoor pictures of newborns. So here are just a couple of my favorites.

Today I got to do newborn pictures for a family that I did newborn pictures for almost two years ago when their daughter was born. I was so excited when mom emailed me about doing pictures of their baby boy and I was even more excited when I got the email that he was born. I love getting those emails. It makes my whole day to know that a family has just welcomed a sweet baby into the world. And this little man was just that, so sweet and so tiny! He might have been the smallest baby I’ve done pictures of. He was not a sleepy boy so I got to spend lots of time holding and cuddling him. I won’t complain. 🙂 I’m so very happy for you guys. What a perfect family you now have!

I’m having withdrawals this weekend since I don’t have a session since I had 2 last weekend. Can’t wait for my next newborn session!
