Outdoor Babies/East Bay Area Newborn Baby Photographer

In 2020, I started doing newborn baby sessions outdoors and discovered that I really loved it! I love finding new locations and the perfect spots to go with the colors that I have set up for the session. This first sweet girl was named Daisy so of course I had to include some daisies which I had found. I’m looking forward to finding new locations here in our new town. There are so many hidden trails and hikes that we are discovering by taking our dog walking. I can’t wait until the spring when everything starts turning green again! *Outdoor newborn sessions take place an hour before sunset. That is when the light is the most beautiful! I am now booking newborn and sitter/6 month sessions in the East Bay Area in my studio or outdoors! It’s never too early to book! Fall Babies/East Bay Area Newborn Baby Photographer

I love the fall so much and love doing baby photos outside. This is our first fall in CA so I know it’s going to be different but I’m loving the cooler weather so far! I offer studio newborn and sitter/6 month sessions and also outdoor newborn and sitter sessions. The outdoor photos are my favorites because you can add so much color and texture. Babies are fully wrapped in the outdoor newborn photos to keep them nice and warm. B&W /Bay Area Newborn Baby Photographer

I love newborn baby photos in black and white! With each session, most images are given to you in color and then also black and white. I love how classic they are. My style is simple and easy and will withstand the test of time. My goal is for people to never look back and say, “Ooo, those are so 2020’s!” You know what I’m talking about! Remember those family photos where everyone wore the white shirts and jeans?! Or the selective coloring where only one part of the photo was in color?! I’m guilty of that and thought it was so fun to do back in one of my photography classes, much to the dismay of my teacher. LOL I used to use bright colors, crazy props and headbands. Tiny Man/Bay Area Newborn Baby Photographer

I have so many photos to share that never got posted of these adorable newborn babies! I’m really going to miss seeing my Asheville families around town and getting to see their babies grow up. I always ran into my clients everywhere I went! That’s something I always loved about Asheville. I look forward to the same in our new town of Moraga! All That Hair/Bay Area Newborn Baby Photographer

I love when little babies come in and have so much hair, even as newborns! This little guy had the perfect head of hair and was oh so sweet at his session. This teal color is one of my favorites and I love using it for fall. I’m so ready to get out the burnt oranges, pumpkins, and all of the fall props! Now if this heat wave would go away and we could get to some real fall weather, that would be great! Ha! Does that happen in Northern CA?! I guess I will find out soon enough! Either way, I’m getting out our pumpkin scented candles and decorating the house like it’s a real fall like we got in Asheville! I am truly going to miss the changes in the leaves. They are so beautiful and it was one of my favorite times of year there. The other day, our daughter said, “Now I see why all of the tourists go to Asheville in the fall!” It was so normal for our kids to live somewhere with so many beautiful fall leaves. It will be different here but all of the sunshines makes up for the lack of fall leaves! I am mostly totally set up to start business here in the Bay Area! I’m SO ready. The break has been needed with all of the things that had to be done here: get the house in order, get the kids all set up with school, their activities, tutors, doctors,…that was a lot of work!
