I had this beautiful baby girl in the studio this morning. Can you believe after months and months of baby boys, a girl was finally here?! She was the sweetest little thing with a full head of dark hair! I really love babies so much and I love my job because I get to snuggle these precious souls! I love meeting parents as they are about to take on this new journey. This mom and I will be friends for a long time. I just know it. I love when you meet someone and you feel like you’ve known them forever. She is that way! As I’m working on these pictures, I can’t help but sigh because I love these pictures so much! I will be sharing many more during the week. Here are a few of my favorites for now! Thank you sweet girl for curbing my baby fever at least for this week!
Practice, Practice/Asheville Newborn Photographer
Today I had some time to practice some new Photoshop techniques. It’s kind of my obsession right now, making the perfect newborn photos! That’s good news for my clients, right?! I met a mom today that had emailed me a year ago wanting to do newborn photos but I was already booked solid. I told her that I’ve improved so much since last year so now she’s just going to have to have another baby! hehe I hope to always continue to grow and learn! This is the photo that I worked on today of this new baby boy from a recent session!

I like to go through and pick out my favorites from the year at the end of each year. Here are some of my favorite photos from 2014! If you can’t tell, I had a really hard time picking because I love so many of them. It’s cool to see how much I’ve grown too, especially with newborn photography! This little baby boy is the most precious thing ever! Wouldn’t you agree?! And the best part of all is that I get to see even more of his sweet little self every time his momma posts pictures to Instagram or Facebook. It’s so amazing to be friends with clients so that I get to watch their little ones grow!
