Christmas is coming so I thought it was time to get some pictures of my kids. This is the set up that I’m using for my mini-sessions next weekend so I thought I would give it a try! I had the hardest time figuring out how I was going to do this but I love the way it turned out!
This is a picture that I took of Mya for our holiday card. She loves having her picture taken!
One of my favorite things to see during a newborn session is a baby smiling in their sleep. This baby girl had the biggest smiles!
Momma wanted lots of color so we used purple and I love it with baby’s hair and skin!
I’m having the hardest time not sharing this entire session! Every photo that I edit, I want to share because this baby girl is so beautiful!
I had this beautiful baby girl in the studio this morning. Can you believe after months and months of baby boys, a girl was finally here?! She was the sweetest little thing with a full head of dark hair! I really love babies so much and I love my job because I get to snuggle these precious souls! I love meeting parents as they are about to take on this new journey. This mom and I will be friends for a long time. I just know it. I love when you meet someone and you feel like you’ve known them forever. She is that way! As I’m working on these pictures, I can’t help but sigh because I love these pictures so much! I will be sharing many more during the week. Here are a few of my favorites for now! Thank you sweet girl for curbing my baby fever at least for this week!
Today I had some time to practice some new Photoshop techniques. It’s kind of my obsession right now, making the perfect newborn photos! That’s good news for my clients, right?! I met a mom today that had emailed me a year ago wanting to do newborn photos but I was already booked solid. I told her that I’ve improved so much since last year so now she’s just going to have to have another baby! hehe I hope to always continue to grow and learn! This is the photo that I worked on today of this new baby boy from a recent session!
