I loved all of the photos from this session so much! Here are a couple more of my favorites!

This morning I did my first full newborn session in a long time. Thank goodness I can now leave Piper with Ryder for a while. It sure makes life so much easier! This little man was such a dream. Once we got him asleep, he was asleep for a really long time so we were able to get lots of different shots. His mom was wonderful too, so much help, even after a c-section! Thank you very much! I’ve been a little obsessed with newborn photography lately so you may notice my style changing a little. I’m excited for my newborn session next weekend. I love getting to hold all of these sweet little babies!

This evening’s session was just perfect and this family was so easy! I was a little nervous because mom informed me ahead of time that her son is smack dab in the middle of the terrible two’s. I know all about those! But he was a dream child! And this location! Good golly sometimes I can’t believe I live in such a beautiful place! Thank you guys for being so amazing. I’m in love with your pictures and can’t wait for you to see them all!

Every couple needs a picture like this one. Sometimes after having children, life becomes all about the children. Sometimes you need to step back and remember where it all began!

I wanted to share a few more from my session last weekend now that mom and dad have seen them. This little man is so photogenic.
This was my first attempt at knitting! I’ve improved since then but it’s such a soft piece for little babes. 🙂

And my second attempt at dying fabric! I’m all about making my own props these days!

Today I did a session with this precious baby boy. Every time I do a newborn session I still get a bit nervous. You just never know what kind of personality the baby is going to have. I’m usually really good at soothing babies but this little man could not be soothed no matter how hard I tried. His momma told me that you just have to give him a few minutes and then he’ll stop. And she was right. He did that every time it was time to move him. 😉 His little cry broke my heart! His mom was amazing too! She was so helpful that at one point, I had to ask her if she’s done newborn photography before! If I ever hire an assistant, I’m giving her a call! Welcome to the world sweet little guy!
