Mom and dad have gotten their gallery from last weekend so I thought I would share a few more of my favorites of this beautiful baby boy.

I met a new family this morning and their precious baby boy. He was a dream to work with! I got very lucky with two super sweet and sleepy newborn babies this weekend. I know I will have many more to share later in the week because I loved this session so much!

This morning I did a newborn session for one of my favorite families. I’ve done 4 sessions for them now and I love when I get to see them. They are so relaxed and easy to be around. Their daughter is the easiest 2 year old I’ve ever met and now their baby boy is the easiest newborn I’ve ever photographed! I’ve never had a baby sleep through nearly their entire session!! Because he was so sleepy, I was able to do his session, clean the studio, wash the fabrics from the session and upload my pictures all within the time that it normally takes just to do a newborn session! I could share this entire session because I love the pictures so much! For now, here are some of my favorites!
I love this in black and white too:
What is Matte?!/Asheville Newborn Photographer
If you have looked at my pricing, you will see that I offer color images and then I convert the ones that look best to vintage (matte) and black and white. You might be asking what is the difference between color and matte. Well, I thought I would show you some photos with both options. Matte is what I usually post on my blog because it’s what I love most! It is sometimes very subtle but adds a little bit of softness to the image.

It’s all about personal preference which is why I offer both. Which do you prefer?

Tomorrow I’m meeting 3 new families for the fall mini-sessions but until then, I had to get my newborn baby fix!
