This little man was the absolutely sweetest baby I’ve ever met.  He really was a dream!  There are a few sessions that I’ve had where the babies have slept through their entire session and he is now one of them.  I always appreciate when a baby makes my life that easy and when parents follow my advice on what to do before the session!  It’s so very important for a session to go smoothly.  It’s cool that you can see a baby’s personality even at 8 days old!  Some of these babies I can see just being so chill all through life and others, they will be out to conquer the world at full speed.  hehe

He started stirring at the very end and I tried and tried to get him to open his eyes for one last shot and he finally did, just for a minute!

This morning  I did a session with the most amazing little baby boy.  He arrived ready to snooze and slept for his entire session which took a record time of less than 2 hours.  His momma booked her session a while back and from her emails I felt like I already knew her when they arrived.  I love when that happens.  She is a lucky momma to have this very chill baby!  And he’s lucky to have this loving momma.  I really loved this session.  It was one of those sessions that when it’s over, I just want to go skipping down the sidewalk because it was the type of session that makes me remember why I love this job so much!  Thanks little man for making this morning so easy!  You rock, buddy!

My most recent newborn baby session was with this precious little girl.  I wanted to share some more from her session since mom and dad have gotten their gallery.

This morning I finally got to meet a baby girl that was in the NICU.  It broke my heart when mom emailed me to tell me that she was going to be in the hospital for a while.  I can’t imagine how hard that must be on parents.  It’s so not what you expect when you go in to have your baby.  Those are some of the strongest parents!  But today she finally came to see me and she was the tiniest, cutest little thing with the most awesome red hair!  I’m so happy that she’s finally home where she belongs with her mom and dad and beautiful big sister!
