My goodness this big sister was SO sweet with her new baby brother! I adore lifestyle sessions so much. They are so easy-going and fun. I look forward to watching these two grow up. They are going to be the best of friends!

Yesterday I decided to take some self portraits. I needed a new photo for my About Me section here on my website since my other one was from years ago. I have to have more skin cancer removed on my face coming up so I figured now was a good time, before I have a big ugly scar! (Wear your sunscreen!) It was quite interesting. I can’t tell you how many pictures contain our dog walking around or me getting up to move him. lol I’m sure he was wondering what in the world I was doing! So HI! I’m Brandy!
Change of Plans!/Asheville Newborn Baby Photographer
I was so excited to see this family! This mom is from the moms’ group that I started many years ago when we first moved to Asheville. Because our kids were such different ages, I didn’t get to spend much time with her sweet daughter. She was such a joy at her session! We had planned one location for the session, but it was raining and muddy that day, so we raced north to avoid the storm to a second location that ended up being closed. Frantically I drove all over looking for a new location and found the perfect spot. The colors were just beautiful! This session was short but so much fun! It started raining just as we were getting the last shot! Everything worked out just perfectly!
Austin/Asheville Family Photographer
We just got back from spending nearly a month in Austin, TX. The kids are doing school virtually and my husband works remotely so it was the time to do it if we were ever going to! I decided to do just a few mini-sessions while there and they were so much fun! I thought at first that we should do them outside in a big field because those are everywhere, but after experiencing fire ants, scorpions and snakes while visiting the in-laws’ property outside of town, I decided against that and we moved it to the city. lol I cant’ wait to go back and do more of these! It was so great to see all of you!!
While looking for locations, I got some pictures of my own kids too. 😉 We love Austin and miss it dearly!!
