So Much Joy/Asheville Newborn Baby Photographer

I had the greatest time doing this session with this family!  I did newborn photos for them and hadn’t seen them since.  I’ve loved getting to see so many families that I haven’t seen since doing newborn photos for them.  This girl was so adorable and had a little bit of that 2 year old sass to her.  😉  I just love the Christmas feeling of these with all of the red!  Bright colors really pop in photos and these outfits were on point!  It’s starting to get cold so I won’t be doing many outdoor photos for a while. I’m going to miss them!!  These have been so much fun!

This baby girl was supposed to come see me for her newborn photos back in March.  Because things went crazy in March and the world shut down, that didn’t happen.  I’m so glad that I finally got to meet her at 6 months to do her photos.  She is SO cute and was so happy at her session!  It was so wonderful to get to meet her momma and grandmother!  I hope I get to see you again someday, sweet girl!

This family is so photogenic!!  I just loved this session and can’t wait until I get to do more outdoor sessions.  This is definitely going to be something that I’m going to continue, even post-COVID once it warms up.  I’ve discovered that I love outdoor sessions even more than studio!  I love all of the babies and it is nice to not have to worry about the weather when I’m in the studio, but these outdoor photos are my new love!

I loved this session so much and went a little overboard with the number of pictures that I took!  This was supposed to be a mini-session but I just couldn’t help myself.  These kids were all so sweet!!  I sure missed doing family sessions!  I quit doing them and only did newborn sessions for years.  I’m kind of glad that I was forced to move outside and get to photograph families again!

Thankful/Asheville Newborn Baby Photographer

I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving.  It definitely looks different for us this year which makes me kind of sad but we are taking in and enjoying all of this quiet time that we have with our kids.  They are growing up so quickly and sometimes it’s easy to get lost with all of the schedules and the noise of the world and to forget that we need to appreciate every moment.  We are being forced to do that now and for that, I am very thankful!  I hope that you all have time with the ones that mean most to you!  I am thankful for our health because so many are suffering right now or have lost loved ones.  This year has been a doozy!  I am looking forward to a new year of positivity and change in the right direction.
