Leaves/Asheville Child Photographer

This evening we went to take some 18 month pictures of Piper.  With Mya and River I had these big plans of what we were going to do for their 18 month pictures and went all out.  I didn’t know what to do for Piper’s and have been putting it off, so this morning, before everyone got up, I laid in bed and thought to myself, “If a client asked me to find a great spot for a session for their 18 month old today, where would I take them?”  It finally dawned on me, to a colorful spot with lots of fall leaves!  And there are lots of those right in our neighborhood!  So we took the kids down the road and let them play in the leaves!  River had a great time!  I will be posting Piper’s pictures later this week, but I love this picture of River.  He’s such a boy!  He’s so wild, so full of energy, just like a puppy dog.  lol  But I love him more than words can even say!

I Heart My Clients/Asheville Family Photographer, Asheville Baby Photographer

I did a session this evening with a family that I hadn’t seen since February when their baby girl was born.  It was so nice to see them again and to see their now BIG baby girl!  Their 2 year old boy was a lot of fun but gave us all our exercise for the day.  hehe  2 year old boys can be quite tricky to photograph!  I definitely had to bring out my bag of tricks!  Mom wanted their session at their home, just like their newborn session and I love that so much!  The pictures mean so much more, I think, when they take place in a spot where you are building lots of memories each day!  I actually finished editing this session in record time tonight so I’ll be sharing more in a few days!

I love how this session turned out so much.  The fall colors are so beautiful and the light this time of year is to die for!  I had to share more from my session last weekend with this precious baby girl!

I loved that I asked this family to go out into this grassy area and they laid down!  I love when families are that relaxed!  It sure makes for some awesome “real” pictures!

Love Her/Asheville Baby Photographer

This evening I did a session with a family that I hadn’t seen since their daughter was a tiny baby.  She was still as beautiful as ever and such a dream baby!  I can’t believe she’s getting ready to turn one!  Time slow down!  I loved seeing them again and getting to spend time with their precious girl!  I will have more to share later in the week!
