This was my last baby of 2020. There haven’t been many this year due to the pandemic. 🙁 But I’ve loved getting to do new things and when I do have a newborn session, I enjoy every second, since that is my true passion! This baby girl was so tiny and sweet and slept through her entire session! This was a mini wrapped session, which is what I’m offering right now. That way the adults can wear masks, the time is shorter, and I feel like it’s a safer way to do sessions for now. I love them and the babies do too!! Look at this sweet girl!!

I did one “normal” newborn session in my studio recently. This is a family that I’ve known for many years. They were tested beforehand and I know that I can trust them. We wore masks, I wore gloves and have air purifiers in the studio. I am looking forward to getting to do these again hopefully starting next summer! I sure have missed these sessions and loved every second of it! This baby girl was just a dream. She was so good and so beautiful!! I’ve been missing the babies lately and loved getting to meet her! Is she not just perfect?!

This baby girl was supposed to come see me for her newborn photos back in March. Because things went crazy in March and the world shut down, that didn’t happen. I’m so glad that I finally got to meet her at 6 months to do her photos. She is SO cute and was so happy at her session! It was so wonderful to get to meet her momma and grandmother! I hope I get to see you again someday, sweet girl!

I loved this session so much and went a little overboard with the number of pictures that I took! This was supposed to be a mini-session but I just couldn’t help myself. These kids were all so sweet!! I sure missed doing family sessions! I quit doing them and only did newborn sessions for years. I’m kind of glad that I was forced to move outside and get to photograph families again!

I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving. It definitely looks different for us this year which makes me kind of sad but we are taking in and enjoying all of this quiet time that we have with our kids. They are growing up so quickly and sometimes it’s easy to get lost with all of the schedules and the noise of the world and to forget that we need to appreciate every moment. We are being forced to do that now and for that, I am very thankful! I hope that you all have time with the ones that mean most to you! I am thankful for our health because so many are suffering right now or have lost loved ones. This year has been a doozy! I am looking forward to a new year of positivity and change in the right direction.
