Today is just a beautiful day! The sun is shining, no coats are needed, Mya and I have had a great day and Ryder is coming back home from N.J. Woohoo! No more single momma here. This morning while Mya and I were eating breakfast, the sun was shining in on these roses and I just had to grab my camera. Sun these days is rare so I had to take advantage of it. Okay, so I decided to do this photo contest just for fun thinking there would be a few votes but boy, was I sooo wrong!! Every time I check my email there are tons of votes. I can barely keep up! The number of hits on this site are insane. The most hits I had had in one day before this contest was 142 but for the last few days, there have been 300 on one day, 450 the next, and so far today there have been 170!! Wowee! You people are serious when it comes to winning. 😉 Thanks for all of the exposure! Can’t wait to see who wins! I have a feeling I know who it might be. Hmmm…..
Just came across this as I’m finishing up pictures from last weekend. This picture makes me want to go wake Mya up and hold her. Oh the love of a mom and her child. It’s like nothing else in the world!

So Santa came to our neighborhood this afternoon. Mya is terrified of him!! She wants nothing to do with him but she will tell you that he is “niiiiice” and he brings you “toys”. 😉 Her outfit was just so cute (from my mom) and the light was just amazing so I had to do a little shoot out in the parking lot. lol
The Santa thing lasted about 2 minutes with Mya so we went to the park afterwards.
So this is our Santa picture this year. lol What a cool Santa to do this for us.
