All Smiles!/Asheville Baby Photographer

Lately, our neighborhood has turned into a botanical garden!  Everywhere I look there are these beautiful trees and flowers!  I was very excited to get to do a session in our own neighborhood yesterday with this very sweet, very happy little man.  He reminded me so much of my little River.  I loved this session and hope to get to work with this family again!

Spring Mini-Sessions Part Deux!/Asheville Child and Baby Photographer

On Sunday I did the second day of my mini-sessions and it went a little differently than I was planning!  I got to the location and got all set up with plenty of time to spare.  My first family showed up and we were right in the middle of doing their photos when it started raining.  And then it started POURING and thundering.  We got under a gazebo and waited it out, but all I could think of was, “Hmmm….all of my stuff is sitting out in that, including things that I spent lots of time making.”  🙁  Finally it quit and they left and I was hanging out all by myself, with all of my wet things and it was so cold!  I didn’t know what to do!  Go to the car and turn on the heat and wait?  I’m the mom who makes my family have a photo session in the rain.  When I’ve got my mind set to do something, I’m doing it.  So after a couple of families came and left because it was so wet and cold, the sun started to come out and I was hopeful that things were going to turn around.  And they did!  It got warmer and the rest of my families came and we had a great time getting some fun pictures!  I went home looking like a cover girl, let me tell you!  Soaking wet shoes, crazy hair, grass-stained knees, just gorgeous!  lol  Needless to say, all I wanted to do when I got home was take a shower!  Thank you to all of the families who made it out and for those of you who weren’t able to stay, I’ll be seeing you in a couple of weeks!  🙂
