Pretty in Pink/Asheville Newborn Baby and Family Photographer

This was a family session but this momma is getting ready to have her third baby so we had to get some maternity photos too. I love that the tulips at our location matched her dress so perfectly! This session was a little different than most, including two locations, two different times and lots of really crazy, bad luck situations for me. I was wiped out when I got home that night! But the photos look beautiful and I’m so glad we were able to make the session work just the way this mom wanted it to! And I was so excited to find out that her kids go to the same school as my kids so I’ll get to bump into them all of the time which is always cool with my clients! ~Brandy Lewis (Asheville Newborn and Family Photographer)

Mini-Sessions 2/Asheville Newborn Baby Photographer

I’ve really loved doing mini-sessions.  It’s been so nice to see some of my previous clients again and friends too!  The toddlers are definitely a little more challenging than newborns, but if you aren’t challenged in your job, then it gets boring, right?  lol  I love that I was able to do these socially distanced, with a mask.  It makes me feel like this can be done safely, at least for now while it’s still warm!  I’ve got lots of really cute pictures to share!  I’ve got one more weekend of sessions coming up this weekend and then possibly more, in a different location!  I will post that coming up very soon on my Facebook page!

This mom and I have been communicating back and forth through email for a while now.  I loved her personality in her emails and loved how excited she is about her newborn session with her upcoming baby girl.  I knew I was going to love her and I did! She was just as awesome as I thought she would be, so easy going, funny and just fun to be around.  And their daughter was SO beautiful and the sweetest thing.  She hugged and kissed me before leaving and then ran up and hugged and kissed me again.  Oh my gosh, precious!  It was so cold for this session, but it didn’t matter, we had a great time.  I’m really looking forward to the session with this baby girl.  I have a feeling she’s going to be rather chubby and who doesn’t love a chubby baby?!  There hasn’t been a newborn baby girl in the studio in so long that I can’t even remember!  I’ve been buying headbands and scarves and blankets and flokatis and on an on for months now just hoping that someone would eventually book me that had a girl and that time has finally come!  Now we just have to wait for her to make her appearance!

Precious Girl!/Asheville Child Photographer, Asheville Family Photographer

Last weekend I did a session with a family that I’ve done a couple of sessions for before:  maternity when they were about to have their little girl and then again when she was around 1 year old.  Now she’s 2 and I can’t even believe what a difference a year makes!  She was a photographer’s dream!  She would stand and pose and give me the best smiles!  I loved hanging out with them and her!  I can’t wait to see their sweet baby boy coming up next month!  So here are a few of my favorites!

+1/Asheville Family Photographer

This evening I met up with a family that I’ve done photos for since their little girl was a newborn:  see here.  I love watching families grow and it was so cool seeing their little girl again since I hadn’t seen her in almost a year! She is adorable and so spunky.  I will admit, this is a hard age to photograph.  They want their independence and they want to explore and run.  We managed to make it work even with some way-too-bright sun (thanks time change)!  It was so great seeing you guys again!  I can’t wait to meet that new little baby boy, or girl?  😉
