Little Man/Asheville Newborn Photographer

Since I didn’t have a session this past weekend because of the weather, I thought I would share some more from a session I had recently.  Sometimes I could share an entire session because I love the photos so much!

I love to try and get at least one open-eye shot because you rarely see a newborn’s eyes open!  I love how he had his little hand up against his cheek…precious!

So Simple/Asheville Newborn Photographer

I just love how simple and sweet these photos are.  I wanted to share a few more from last weekend’s session now that mom and dad have gotten their gallery.  My session for this weekend has been rescheduled because it is supposed to be outside and it is freezing!  So there won’t be any updates this weekend.  I’m going to take the weekend to celebrate my mom’s birthday, go to my son’s basketball game and not have to rush home for a session, take the kids to paint pottery and go to my dear friend’s baby shower.  Can I really fit all of that into one weekend?!  I’m sure going to try!  So everyone have a great week and get ready for some sweet photos of a little one year old boy next weekend!

Eyes Wide Open/Asheville Newborn Photographer

Today I did a session with this adorable little man.  I loved snuggling him and I got lots of snuggle time.  He decided half way through his session that he just wasn’t tired anymore.  He tricked me too because at the beginning of his session, he was zonked out, to the point that I thought we would get through the whole session without him waking up.  You never know how a newborn session is going to go!  Thank you mom for being so patient and grandma too!  You have one very beautiful little boy and I loved spending time with you guys.  I hope you get lots of sleep tonight!

Big sister was perfect!  I love having older siblings in the studio so that we can do shots like this!  Look at his little smile!

Crosby/Asheville Newborn Photographer

A very dear friend of mine had her baby boy, Crosby.  It’s funny, but the way that she told me she was pregnant was by asking, “So how can I book a newborn session?”  hehe  This baby boy was wanted by this family for so long so when he came to be, I was thrilled for them!  The night that mom went into labor, I barely slept and when I did, I had dreams about her and Crosby.  The next morning, her husband sent me a picture of her holding Crosby in the tub and the look on her face was pure joy.  I am not sure I have ever cried so many happy tears, except with my own babies.  I am so very happy for this family and I loved every second of this session.  I loved how much mom was so in love with her little boy and how she just got the biggest smiles on her face when she looked at him in different poses or when he made cute little noises or smiled.  I loved how dad was so natural with him when I posed them together.  And big sister, I knew she was going to be awesome, because she always is.  She likes to take her pictures quickly and then run out to go play but the time that she gives me, she just poses and it’s so cute!  Thank you guys so much for allowing me to capture this sweet little man.  I read that grandma said that he had already grown, just since birth!  They grow up fast.  It’s no lie.  Soak it all in.  Before we all know it, he’s going to be running around with the big kids!  I love you guys!!  xoxo
