I finally got a picture of Mya with Piper.  She was so great with her.  I’m just amazed at how much she loves her!  It’s a totally different story than when River was born. It took about 6 months for her to warm up to him!  I thought it was going to last forever!  So glad this time was easier!  I think these two are going to be best buddies someday!

This morning River kept kissing Piper on her head while I was trying to get him dressed.  It was so sweet!  I told him that I wished that I had my camera and he said, “Take my picture?  In your studio?”  Why yes!  So I took him and Piper to my studio but then he got all shy and didn’t want to kiss her anymore, not even for M&M’s!  Oh well.  These are just as cute.  Mya is up next.

My poor Piper.  She’s my new favorite model, but she doesn’t know it yet.   😉  I know that the newborn newness is almost past, so I am trying to get all of the pictures that I’ve wanted to do with her before it’s too late!  I’d love to do some outside.  Who knew it would be cold in May?!  Come on warm weather!

Our baby girl arrived a week ago, a little over a week early. She was a late night surprise!  I love her so very much and feel very protective over her.  She and I both went through a really stressful time during my pregnancy.  I was seeing specialists each week because they thought that she might have some skeletal problems and then placenta issues.  Well, she came out a perfectly healthy and sweet baby girl.  I’m still in shock that she is okay. I’ve never cried so much and gone through so many emotions as I did when I was pregnant, so to see her here now with no problems just amazes me.  I’ve been waiting to do her newborn pictures until I felt like I’ve recovered enough from the C-section, but today I decided to do just a few pictures, even though I have a feeling I should have waited a little longer.  But she’s already changing and growing and I want to capture her now.  I will be doing more in a few days, but here are some from my studio today.  I love you my little Piper!
